I was referenceing Greg's feeling of betrayal when the LHC was ham handed by those rotten journalists at the discovery channel's SYSK. I think what you guys said about infotainment is dead on. For SYSK, it is less important to be correct than to be entertaining. Their job is also to teach things in a vague wikipedia info level to the unwashed masses however they do so with an air of understanding.
I just got to the 151 post show, I see the vitamin D thing now... I'll see what I can drum up for you.
